The Golden Books (Little Golden Books) are originally an American series of children’s books and have been published in the Netherlands by Rubinstein since 2001.

The series is known for its original stories, beautiful illustrations and the golden edge. They are sturdy cardboard booklets with a golden spine. The most beautiful stories and fairytales of the past and now, by international and national well-known authors are transformed into a Golden Book with new beautiful illustrations. More than 1,500 Golden Booklets have been published worldwide and have been sold more than 3 billion times. And every year new ones are added… because many Dutch authors and illustrators are only too happy to contribute to the expansion of the Golden Book collection.
