HOW DOES IT WORK?

Order

All maternity gifts are clearly arranged in different main categories: maternity gifts with name and baby shower gifts without a name. By clicking on one of the main categories, you will see an overview of the various subcategories. In the subcategories you will find photos of all articles or maternity packages. Click on the article for more information. All articles are also sorted by Brand.

With the articles there is an option to have the product packed and, if possible, to personalize it. If you can’t get out of here, don’t hesitate contact us to record with us.

By clicking ‘add to shopping cart’ the item is placed in the shopping cart. You will then automatically go to the shopping cart where the number can still be adjusted and the gift can also be deleted (X). By clicking on ‘Continue shopping’ you will return to the store to continue shopping. Are you satisfied with your order? Then click on Proceed to checkout’. at the bottom of the page. Enter the billing address information and, if desired, the shipping address information. Choose a payment method, read the Terms and Conditions and check to agree. You then finalize your order by checking the order and clicking on ‘Place order’.

Secure payment

Payment is made via www.mollie.nl. You can choose from different methods, such as iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, Sofort, PayPal, pay later with Klarna. Because Mollie works with the most reliable payment techniques, you can be sure that this is safe at Babycompany.

Companies and payment

Companies can choose to pay by invoice. You will receive an invoice with a payment term of two weeks.

Delivery time & shipping costs

The ordered maternity gift will be offered by us to DHL within 2 working days. The delivery time is longer if, for example, a name has to be embroidered. This is indicated with the relevant article, you can assume that we usually offer the personalized products to our carrier DHL within 3 working days.
When a baby shower gift is on its way, you will always receive a confirmation e-mail. Is the country you want not in the list? Then take contact us contact us for the possibilities.

Shipping costs within the Netherlands are € 4,95 with a standard package. The costs for a letterbox package are: € 3,95. Within the Netherlands, shipping is always free if the order exceeds €60, this is indicated in the shopping cart. As soon as you add a product to your shopping cart, you will see what the delivery costs are. For letterbox mail, for example, you can think of a baby book, tuttle, cutlery set; basically everything that is in a special (possibly bubble) envelope and/or the so-called zgn. ‘letterbox box’ fits.

The shipping to Germany and Belgium is €7.90. These packages are also sent with DHL.

Status of the order

Immediately after approval, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, with an overview of what you have ordered. If the package is actually on its way, you will receive another confirmation e-mail. You will receive a Track & Trace code from our carrier DHL to track the shipment. DHL usually offers the package within the Netherlands the next day (during the day, but not on Sunday). If you are not at home, a card will be left behind. DHL will try to deliver the package the next day (again during the day and except Sunday), or the package will go directly to a service point nearby. If the package is not picked up at the service point, it will be returned to babycompany.nl after 7 days and we will contact you. Parcels sent to Germany or Belgium usually need an extra day to arrive at their destination.

Change/cancel order

During the ordering process you can always remove or add products in the order overview. Once the order has been placed, you can no longer make any changes. If, after placing the order, you see that something is wrong, please let us know as soon as possible via info@babycompany.nl or on 06 10089018. If you have chosen to personalize a product and we are here If we have not started yet, we will implement the changes. We will always let you know.

Guarantee

All products are covered by the legal warranty. This means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. As a seller, Babycompany.nl is responsible for delivering a good product. A product must do what is expected of it. If this is not the case, Babycompany.nl will provide repair or replacement or refund the purchase price if there is no longer a solution. We always do this in consultation. If you have any doubts about a delivered product, please contact us as soon as possible contact us with us.

Reflection period & returns

You have a cooling-off period of 14 days to return the product without giving reasons, starting on the day of receipt of the product. You have 14 days from the moment of the return notification to return the product. The product can only be returned unused and, if possible, in its original packaging.

For returning the order, the return costs are for your account.

If the product is unused, we will return the purchase amount and any paid shipping costs (of the order, not of the return package) within 14 days.

You can also use the model withdrawal form.

Babycompany.nl reimburses all payments made by the customer, including any delivery costs charged by Babycompany.nl for the returned product (if the entire order is returned), immediately but within 14 days following the day on which the customer notifies her of the withdrawal. Unless Babycompany.nl offers to collect the product itself, it may wait with repayment until it has received the product or until the customer demonstrates that he has returned the product, whichever is the earlier. Babycompany.nl uses the same means of payment that the customer has used for reimbursement, unless the customer agrees to another method. The refund is free of charge for the consumer.

If the customer has opted for a more expensive method of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery, Babycompany.nl does not have to reimburse the additional costs for the more expensive method.

The above expressly does not apply to products that have been specially personalized for you, by means of embroidery, printing, painting or engraving. These items cannot be returned. If the personalized product does not meet the expected quality, please contact us as soon as possible contact us on with Babycompany.nl. We will then ask you for photos of the ordered product.

When you have received the product and you do more than assess it (to see if he wants to keep it) and damage occurs to the product, you are liable for this depreciation. You may assess/use the products as is also possible in a physical store.

You may also return a product without registration, but then you must enclose a statement that it concerns a return (such as the model form and/or your own form with order number). The return address is:

If you want to cancel an order before the product has been shipped: even then, send an e-mail to info@babycompany.nl or call 06 21 31 53 52, and we will cancel the order (if it has not yet been personalized).

Handling your complaints

It is of course annoying if you have a complaint about our products and/or services. We would like to help you further and offer a desired solution. You can mail to:

After receiving your complaint you will receive a confirmation from us.

We will answer your complaint within 14 days of receipt, if it needs more time, we will inform you.

If you do not appreciate this, you can always contact the mediation department of Stichting Webshop Keurmerk to which we are affiliated. They will then mediate https://www.keurmerk.info/nl/consumenten/klacht/

From 15 February 2016 it is also possible for consumers in the EU to register complaints via the ODR platform of the European Commission. This ODR platform can be found at (http://ec.europa.eu/odr .) If the complaint is not yet being processed elsewhere, you are free to deposit the complaint via the platform of the European Union.

All prices mentioned on the website include VAT.

Packaging

If you choose to pack the item, we will ensure that the baby gift is provided with a stylish and festive packaging, click here for examples. We also put the personal congratulatory text (which you can fill in on the order form) on a card. We also provide a proper outer packaging/shipping box on which the delivery details are stated.

Babycompany uses Recypack shipping boxes. These are guaranteed to be made from FSC corrugated cardboard. FSC stands for paper From Responsible Resources. The international FSC label ensures that raw materials for wood, paper and corrugated board products come from responsibly managed forests, with all due attention to the people and nature that depend on the forest. All major environmental and development organizations recommend FSC.
