Ordering, shipping and returns
How does it work?
All maternity gifts are clearly arranged in various main categories, maternity gifts with a name and maternity gifts without a name. By clicking on one of the main categories, you will see an overview of the different subcategories. In the subcategories you will find photos of all articles or maternity packages. Click on the article for more information. All articles are also sorted by brand.
The items include an option to have the product packaged and, if possible, to personalize it. If you cannot resolve this, do not hesitate to contact us.
By clicking ‘in shopping cart’, the item will be placed in the shopping cart. You will then automatically go to the shopping cart where the number can still be adjusted and the gift can also be deleted (X). By clicking on ‘Continue shopping’ you will return to the store to continue shopping. Are you satisfied with your order? Then click on ‘Proceed to checkout’ at the bottom of the page. Enter the billing address information and, if desired, the shipping address information. Choose a payment method, read the terms and conditions and tick to agree. You then finalize your order by checking the order and clicking on ‘Place order’.
Payment is made via www.mollie.com. You can choose from different ways, such as iDEAL, credit card, Bancontact, Sofort, PayPal, pay afterwards with Klarna. Because Mollie.com works with the most reliable payment techniques, at Babycompany you can be sure that this is safe.
Companies receive an invoice with a payment term of two weeks. You can indicate this on the order form. The company can also enter the VAT code and any internal customer or SAP number here.
Delivery time & shipping costs
The ordered maternity gift will be offered by us to DHL within 2 working days. The delivery time is longer if, for example, a name has to be embroidered. This is indicated with the relevant article, you can assume that we usually offer the personalized products to our carrier DHL within 3 working days. We usually offer the painted clogs and the engraved products to our carrier DHL within 5 working days.
When a maternity gift is sent out, you will always receive a confirmation e-mail. We currently only ship to Belgium and Germany outside the Netherlands. If you have other wishes, please contact us.
Shipping costs within the Netherlands are € 3.50 for a package that fits through the letterbox and € 4.50 for a ‘standard’ package. Within the Netherlands it is always free shipping if the order exceeds € 60, this is indicated in the shopping cart. As soon as you add a product to your shopping cart, you will see what the delivery costs are. For letterbox mail you can think of, for example, a baby booklet, tuttle, cutlery set; basically anything that fits in a special (possibly bubble) envelope and / or the so-called ‘letterbox box’.
Shipping to Germany and Belgium is € 7.90. These packages are also shipped with DHL.
Immediately after approval, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail, with an overview of what you have ordered and when we expect the package to be shipped. If the package is actually on its way, you will receive another confirmation email. You will receive a Track & Trace code from our carrier DHL to track the shipment. DHL usually offers the package within the Netherlands the next day (during the day, but not on Sunday). At ‘not at home’ a card is left behind. The next day DHL (again during the day and except Sunday) will try to deliver the package or the package will go directly to a service point nearby. If the package is not picked up at the service point, it will be returned to babycompany.nl after 7 days and we will contact you. Packages sent to Germany or Belgium usually need an extra day to arrive at the destination.
Change / cancel order
Tijdens het bestelproces kunt u in het besteloverzicht altijd producten verwijderen of toevoegen. Is de order geplaatst, dan kunt u geen wijzigingen meer doorvoeren. Mocht u na het doen van de bestelling zien dat er tóch iets niet klopt, laat dit dan zo snel mogelijk aan ons weten via firstname.lastname@example.org. Indien u gekozen heeft voor het personaliseren van een product en wij zijn hier nog niet aan begonnen, zullen wij de wijzigingen doorvoeren. Wij laten u dit altijd weten.
All products are covered by the legal warranty. This means that a product is or must do what the consumer can reasonably expect from it. As a seller, Babycompany.nl is responsible for delivering a good product. A product must do what is expected of it. If this is not the case, Babycompany.nl will arrange for repair or replacement or for a refund of the purchase amount if there is no solution anymore. We always do this in consultation. If you have any doubts about a delivered product, please contact us as soon as possible.
Reflection period & returns
You have a cooling-off period of 14 days to return the product without giving any reason, starting on the day of receipt of the product. You have 14 days from the time of the return notification to return the product. The product can only be returned unused and, if possible, in its original packaging.
The return costs are for your account for returning the order.
If the product is unused, we will return the purchase amount and any paid shipping costs (of the order, not of the return package) within 14 days.
You can also use the model withdrawal form.
Babycompany.nl will reimburse all payments made by the customer, including any delivery costs charged by Babycompany.nl for the returned product (if the entire order is returned), immediately but within 14 days following the day on which the customer notifies her of the withdrawal. Unless Babycompany.nl offers to collect the product itself, it may wait with paying back until it has received the product or until the customer demonstrates that he has returned the product, whichever comes first. Babycompany.nl uses the same payment method that the customer used for reimbursement, unless the customer agrees to a different method. The reimbursement is free of charge for the consumer.
If the customer has opted for a more expensive method of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery, the entrepreneur does not have to reimburse the additional costs for the more expensive method.
The above explicitly does not apply to products that have been specially personalized for you by means of embroidery, printing, painting or engraving. These items cannot be returned.
When you have received the product and you do more than assess it (to see if he wants to keep it) and the product is created, you are liable for this depreciation. You may assess / use the products as is possible in a physical store.
You may also return a product without registering, but then you must enclose a statement that it concerns a return (such as the model form and / or your own form with order number). The return address is:

If you choose to wrap the article, we will ensure that the baby gift is provided with stylish and festive packaging. We also put the personal congratulatory text (which you can fill in on the order form) on a card. We also provide a proper repackaging / shipping box on which the delivery details are stated.
Babycompany uses the shipping boxes from Recypack. These are guaranteed to be made of FSC corrugated cardboard. FSC stands for paper From Responisble Resources. The international FSC quality mark ensures that raw materials for wood, paper and corrugated board products come from responsibly managed forests, with all attention for the people and nature that depend on the forest. All major environmental and development organizations recommend FSC.
